Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 6, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how ServiceWurk (“ServiceWurk,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the ServiceWurk platform and website at servicewurk.com (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Who this applies to
ServiceWurk provides software to service businesses (“Customers”). This policy covers information about Customers and their team members. Separately, our Customers use ServiceWurk to manage their own clients; information a Customer enters about their clients is processed by us on that Customer’s behalf, and the Customer is responsible for how they collect and use it.
2. Information we collect
- Account information - name, email address, phone number, business name, and password when you register.
- Business content you enter - clients, properties, quotes, jobs, invoices, expenses, time entries, messages, and website content you create in the Service.
- Payment information - subscription billing is handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers. When you connect your own payment accounts (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Venmo), those funds flow directly to you and are handled by those providers under their terms.
- Usage and device data - log data, IP address, browser type, and pages viewed, used to operate and secure the Service.
- Cookies - we use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences (such as language).
3. How we use information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
- To process your subscription and send transactional messages (receipts, reminders, account notices);
- To send emails and text-message handoffs that you initiate through the Service;
- To secure the Service, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers that help us run the Service - for example, cloud hosting, our email delivery provider, and our subscription payment processor - under agreements that limit their use of the data to providing services to us;
- Payment providers you connect, when you choose to accept client payments through them;
- Legal and safety recipients, when required by law or to protect rights, property, or safety.
5. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to records we must retain for legal, tax, or security reasons.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures - including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls - to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and rights
You may access, correct, or update your account information from within the Service, and you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws.
8. Children
The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. International users
ServiceWurk is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
